Maranatha Community Church ministers to the emotional and spiritual needs of its members and larger Kempton Park community in a practical way through the Counselling Centre ministry. 

The mission of the Maranatha Christian Counselling Centre is to continue the ministry of Jesus Christ through the Holy Spirit-to lead people to emotional and spiritual wholeness and maturity through the process of discipleship.

We have biblically trained volunteer lay counsellors who provide:

  • Counselling and supportive help for those facing a life crisis or emotional and/or spiritual problems
  • Bibilical guidance and growth experiences for those wanting to grow spiritually
  • Referrals to professionals for those who may need further help
  • Counselling and life skills-related equipping courses
